Billing and Customer Care Telecom

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Viettel, the largest telecom operator in Vietnam, is experiencing a significant increase in its customer base, which has now reached hundreds of millions. To cater to this growing demand, Viettel has decided to improve the performance, stability, and scalability of its Billing and Customer Care System (BCCS) - a comprehensive system that handles all business activities of Viettel Telecom.

OUR SOLUTIONS
To achieve this goal, we are consulting with them to transform their Billing and Customer Care System (BCCS) from a traditional model to a new architecture based on microservices. This is a significant undertaking that will take over a year to complete, as the BCCS is a large system with hundreds of applications that need to be migrated carefully. Our proposed stack includes a variety of technologies such as Docker, Docker Swarm, Kafka, MariaDB, ELK, Flutter, and Angular.

ADVANTAGES
The project requires a significant amount of effort, but it is well worth it. The new system has numerous benefits, including the ability for Viettel to confidently serve hundreds of millions of users in the future with an easy-to-maintain and scalable system. With this new system in place, the business team can focus on their core business operations without worrying about the system’s maintenance and scalability.

Data Center Infrastructure Management

PROBLEM STATEMENT
A large data center provider in Vietnam is currently managing several thousand server racks. However, many operational tasks are still being executed manually, which requires a significant number of staff and results in numerous incidents. To address this issue, the provider is seeking a new system to automate all operations and streamline their processes.

OUR SOLUTIONS
We have developed a new management system called Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), which is based on microservice architecture. This system is designed to monitor and operate all aspects of a data center, including physical devices such as server racks, air conditioners, fans, lights, and the physical layout of the data center. It also manages the logic model of the data center, including network topology, server configuration.

In addition, DCIM provides task and ticket management to assign operation tasks to staff, as well as staff management. With DCIM, client can easily manage your data center’s infrastructure and ensure that everything is running smoothly.

ADVANTAGES
With the implementation of our new system, clients can now easily monitor all data centers, resulting in smoother operations. This has led to a reduction in staff costs and fewer incidents, ultimately improving profit the quality of their services.

Smart Mobile App for Tourism

PROBLEM STATEMENT
BeeGuide is a startup in the travel domain that aims to develop a smart mobile application for tourists to explore attractions such as museums, resorts, temples, and mausoleums. The app’s main functions include a smart map with a wealth of tourism information and an automated virtual tour guide that provides information based on the tourist’s location.

OUR SOLUTIONS
This application has two technical challenges that we have addressed. The first challenge is to track tourists indoors. We propose a beacon solution that uses beacons to locate tourists’ smartphones via Bluetooth. When tourists move near a location, we can provide them with related information. This solution enables tourists to explore all the attractions and get all the tourism information based on their location with only one mobile application.

The second challenge is to create a smart map. We have drawn a beautiful map specifically for the attraction and attached all tourism information to this map, such as where to eat, where to stay, and where to play. This solution provides a very convenient way for tourists to enjoy their trip.

We are upgrading our application to the next version, which will eliminate the need for beacons. Tourists can now simply scan a QR code at the attraction to use the application. This will make it easier for the attraction to implement the solution.

ODC for Loyalty Application

PROBLEM STATEMENT
24Karats is a startup that provide web3 loyalty marketing platform from Japan. The 24karat platform empowers brands, projects, and communities to effortlessly create and utilize their own tokens/NFTs, anywhere and in any capacity, to enhance engagement and realize their ambitious vision.

OUR SOLUTIONS
24karats is a long-term project that runs in an agile way. To support their needs, we have provided them with an Offshore Development Center (ODC). Our team of 5 full-stack members has worked remotely but closely with 24karats full-time for over a year. Their work process is based on the Scrum framework, with a team leader as the main contact with the Japanese team. Because the team is stable and self-organized, they have become better and better day by day. In fact, they are now considered an integral part of 24karats’ internal team.
